Melissa Lockwoods garments are made with a regenerative techniques.  Her process doesn’t cause pollution, it eliminate it.  She works to help designers use their waste fabrics.

She has developed a technique utilizing the pattern area where waste fabrics come from.

When designers use these pattern areas during their design process, they can design garments with waste fabric.  This will create use for these fabrics and stop its disposal into landfills causing pollution.

Her designs are geometric and organic shape zero waste, utilizing the shapes found between the tradition pattern areas.

When fashion designers work in a regenerative way, taking into account their wastes fabrics impact on the Earths environment they will reduce pollution and help the earth and its inhabitants regenerate to health.

The mass production of waste fabrics needs to stop.  In this site you will see garments Melissa designed retroactively from fashion industry waste.  She encourages designers to look at these fabrics while still in their studios and design into their waste areas, turing it into products.
